Arte, je crois, l'avais diffusé (festival de l'animation d'Annecy ?). Depuis, je le montre à des gens, grâce à vous notamment (à l'époque en VHS...). Bolwoue cnacu8a
So jealous of all the highschool kids that got to watch this absolute gem in class. Probably my favourite onscreen adaptation of Macbeth. The cinematography, the soundtrack, the casting, the atmosphere and visuals. All of it is just perfect. I still like Roman Polanski's Macbeth from 1971 but this and the Joel Coen's versions are just on a whole other level.

I can't recommend Ambre enough. They have the most insane textures in ambient music. Their Enclave album is in my top 10, you really should give it a try.

Výtvarník Josef Vyleťal Vyleťal namaloval obraz, který se před kamerou pomalu otáčel. Ne všechny obrazy maloval pro tuto titulkovou sekvenci, některé namaloval již dříve. Samotný obraz byl pomalu otáčen na bubnu a prostřihy jsou dělány klasickým filmařským způsobem, úvodní titulky stříhal pan Jaromír Janáček, který měl na starost střih celého filmu a jeho asistentka Anna Mejtská. Animace tu nebyla, pouze fázování a posun záběru. Úvodní titulky natočil štáb studia Bratři v triku, na zakázku od produkčního Karla Kochmana. Za kamerou stál Svatopluk Malý. Fonty titulků byly standartně tištěny na černý papír , kde se nakonec překopírovalo na to, co bylo natočeno. To je trocha animované filmařiny do jednoho z naprosto nejlepších Českých filmů.

Honestly one of my favorite artists. This release doesn't sound much like what he's used to do though.
